My Crazy Week

Let me start by saying, this week has been insane. What is it with professors cramming in a million things the week before Spring Break? I swear, they all get together and talk of ways to stress out students.

Got up at 8:30 today to go to work at 9 and realized I had an online Spanish test due at noon. Well, I wasn't scheduled to get off work until 3:30. I was a bit frazzled but figured things out. Work was crazy. School is crazy. I guess right now I can conclude that my life right now is just crazy.

But Spring Break is officially here. Well, wouldn't call it much of a break. I will most likely go into overtime at work this week, but hey, money is money right?
On the bright side of things, I am headed back to Gtown this week to sign my contract and pay my deposit for The Villas! I can't wait to finally have SOMETHING booked and ready to go. I finally feel like things are moving along. I am so ready for this wedding, yet I still have another year and 4 days to go. Well, there is one good thing that comes out of that. In 4 days, I will be starting my '12 month countdown' for you. Basically, I will make a list, starting with month 12 and working my way all the way to the week of the wedding. This list will include things that should be done in this time frame, things to consider. You know, all the important stuff that through this crazy time, we don't usually think about. Plus, this gives me a little checklist. Until then, maybe I'll keep myself busy with some How To's. We'll see.

Hope everyone is doing well!
I will keep you updated on my exciting day of signing my contract this week. Who knows, maybe it won't really be that exciting, but I'll tell you anyways.

Happy Planning!

  1. The first post there about picking your guest list is awesome, that's the same way I did it, but I still felt a little bad about not inviting "everybody" but what she wrote here just made me feel a lot better:

"Don't worry about hurting someone's feelings. Truth is, if you don't really feel like inviting them then they probably haven't put much effort into a relationship with you anyways. It's their own fault they aren't invited."
